Dr. Rahul Sharma is an experienced molecular diagnostics scientist and biotechexecutive with over 23 years of experience in infectious disease genomics,qPCR/NGS assay development, and regulatory compliant lab operations. Hehas proven record in translational research, validations, and startup innovationin molecular diagnostics.​

​Dr. Sharma earned his PhD in Biotechnology from ICMR and published >30peer-reviewed publications and got 3 patents in the field of biotechnology. Hedeveloped molecular assays for leprosy, TB, SARS-CoV-2, and AMR pathogensand his research cited by CDC and featured in New York Times, NPR, and WallStreet Journal.​

​Dr. Sharma has founded molecular diagnostics start ups and has been on keyscientific leadership positions in several biotechnology companies such as chiefinnovation officer and director, lab operations.​
